Hello! My name isClarabelleand I would love to meet you!

Hello, my name is Clarabelle! I have a lot to offer: I walk well on my leash, I will keep your lap warm, I give amazing hugs and kisses, I am super cute when I play with tennis balls and squeaky toys, and I am a great car passenger! I am recovering from health issues caused by malnutrition. It has caused me to lose a lot of weight and some of my fluffy fur. But don't worry - I'm on the mend and so lucky to be getting the very best treatment during my healing process! My foster family is feeding me lots and lots of deliciously healthy foods, and boy do I love all the yummy snacks and meals! I am very food motivated and will happily and calmly eat my meals in my luxury crate (which is complete with an orthopedic mattress and a mini fan for air circulation). Due to my hair loss I'm not a fan of being out in the cold.

I do love to snuggle under a blanket or in a pile of towels or linens. I am happiest cuddling on somebody's legs, crawling under the blankets for a nap with a human, or sharing a pillow. When it's not too cold I am ready to go on a walk! Since I haven't been feeling my best lately, I don't want to share my food and toys with other dogs. It takes me a little while to warm up to new fur friends and I'm wary of them if they're making a barky racket. I'm more interested when every pup is calm and they let me take the lead. I think I'll like dogs better once I feel settled, safe and healthy!
