Hello! My name is Hops and I am new here at Taysia Blue Rescue. Hops are the flowers of the humulus lupulus plant. It is a bine which is a vine without tendrils (who knew?). Barley, yeast and water are essential to brewing beer. Early in the brewing process, adding hops provides the bitterness. Later in the process, hops provides the aroma. It is also a natural preservative, extending the life of beer. I love my people and all of their attention.
