Bonjour ma famille! Did you know that my name means “God is gracious” in French? It is a very fitting name for me, considering how far I’ve come. I hope my journey will continue with you, and that we can teach each other about life and companionship. I have a lot to learn.

I can’t remember the last time I stayed in a home with people. I have been learning about the routines, and I haven’t had an accident for the last week! I’m proud of my progress. Also, sleeping inside is much warmer! Very underrated! In fact, I warm up to people very quickly. Even around children, I’m only a touch nervous before I get lovey.

Want to know something cute about me? If I want your affection, I’ll give you some small barks punctuated with a petite howl. It’s my way of saying: “Excuse me! I would like your attention, please!”

I like being part of a pack. If you have big dogs, I’ll fit right in. I don’t guard food or water, and I can keep up with even the bounciest pups, at least for a little while. I’m not the spring chicken I once was, so it’s easier for me to find a place to nap after rough-housing.

Want to know another cute fact about me? My favorite toys aren’t really toys, they’re socks! If you leave one on the floor, I’ll help you forget about it. Stealing socks is the best! It truly is my favorite hobby! I’m not a counter-surfer or a biter, I’m a bonafide sock hider.
