Hi, I'm Neil - named after the English author Neil Gaiman! I'm a beautiful baby fuzzy puppy who is looking for a family to help me write my life story. My short life started off rough, but it's already improved so much and I can't wait to find out what's next! I was a tiny survivor of a cruelty case. I was terrified of people and they're still pretty scary but I'm getting treated so well here and learning they are good. I am still afraid to approach people but once I'm picked up and held I will snuggle right in. My foster parents adore me and say I'm so cute and fun to watch play!

I LOVE other dogs and love to play. I'm generally a very appropriate player and seek out dogs with a gentler play style, but I can scruff grab with the best of them! I especially idolize my wise and gentle older foster brother. I really need a confident dog buddy or two or three to play with and to teach me things. I am super smart and pick up on cues from my dog friends. I have already learned to kennel for a treat. I'm very talkative, but pretty quiet in my kennel. I'm working on my potty training and I still have some accidents but I haven't messed in my kennel since the very first night. I eat like a champ and have been getting a sardine, a bit of raw chicken liver, goat milk kefir and an egg in my dinner kibble!
