First, HELLO, I'm Buckwheat. Second, do you have a car? I ask because taking rides with my nose by an air vent is HEAVEN on earth. I'll be quiet and join you for your adventure!
I love babies, children and adults alike. I like most dogs, too. I'm gaining confidence communicating with other dogs and humans. I put out my paw when I want to play.
I LOVE walks and am REALLY easy on a leash! When we're done walking I can snuggle on or over you. No need for a weighted blanket, you'll have me!
Just to be transparent, I had a rash last year. Now that I have food that works for me I feel healthy and happy. The only goal we have now is taking treats gently. I just get so excited for good nums!
Apply to meet me, Buckwheat, and let's go for a drive!

Want a pint-sized cuddle bug? I'm Nova!
I am new to Taysia Blue Rescue and slowly showing my personality. We KNOW I adore head scratches and being outside! I do AMAZING in my crate. I sleep through the night and can be patient in my crate while you're at work.
Also, we know I like to be around other pups. I came from a shelter and LOVED playing with my buddies there. I would probably shine best in a home with larger children as I'm obsessed with FOOD. I may have gotten busted stealing cookies off the counter, too. They just smelled so good!
As of this writing, I'm heartworm positive - boo!
BUT I've already started my medication and am ready to meet you - yay!
Apply to meet me, Nova!

Howl-o, I'm Tekla! I'm named after Tekla Butcher-Monson, a famous musher and daughter of Iditarod and Yukon Quest champion parents. I have extra long legs for running super fast, and I'm sure I could be a champion sled dog in Alaska if I had the chance! (I will settle for some long walkies though!) I'm also very intelligent. The humans say I have beauty AND brains! I'm a good girl, and I'm fun and easy to train! I very quickly learned my name, kennel, down, come, out of the kitchen, wait, and sit. By the time you read this I probably have even more skills! I am curious and playful with other dogs, and I get along very well with the two other husky girls in my foster home.
I am currently being treated for heartworm. Don't let that scare you - we can go ahead and start the adoption process in the meantime! Once my treatment is done, I expect to have a clean bill of health. I can't have too much excitement right now, but I've stayed happy and occupied with challenging stuffed Kongs and treat games. As a bonus I am crate trained and do well in my kennel. I also have a favorite fluffy bed that I love to nap on.
Want to be best friends and learn and explore together? Fill out an application and mention Tekla!

Hi. Hi. Hi. I'm one of the new puppies, Tundra!
I arrived with my brothers and sisters after being found. It's a pretty sad story but I'm looking at the bright side of life now. I'm learning how to be a husky and am ready for a life of adventure and happiness.
I've been to the vet, gotten all my shots, and am ready for my forever home! Is that with you? paw five Excellent!
Apply to meet me, Tundra, in Colorado!

Hi I'm Ranger! Welcome to Camp Husky! I enjoy the great outdoors and spending time in the backyard. Sometimes the humans have to bring me inside at night or I'd be happy to sleep under the stars! I know how to use a doggy door to go in and out and I haven't had any accidents in the house.
I am super shy right now, but I have a quiet curiosity and fondness for people who spend time with me. I'm slowly opening up to my foster family. I've been quite stoic, but I do love food and lately I've started to get very excited when I know it's time to eat! I have a calm energy and I'm very tolerant of other dogs, but so far I don't interact with them much. When I was in the shelter I was paired with an even shyer dog who became more confident by spending time with me.
Are you looking for a buddy to enjoy quiet times, snacks, and the kind of peace you only find under open skies? Fill out an application and mention me, your park Ranger!
